    I think it is horrific, and that there is no Constitutional basis for it. In fact, I think I have been on record repeatedly that the US government should not hold assets outside of what is needed for the specific functions it provides and should divest of everything else (also a good way to pay off the debt). You, of course, had no idea what my position on this was and just assumed I was in favor of it.

    This wasn’t unexpected. But what is unexpected is the shitcoins.

    Last I read about this months ago, the "reserve" was created from coins already confiscated by the U.S. federal government (~200k BTC). IOW, instead of selling them off, they put them into a "reserve." But there are no details on this, so it’s unclear if this includes confiscated coins - if the federal government even bothers confiscating shitcoins in the first place, lol. Honestly, the whole idea of putting confiscated coins into a "reserve" sounds more like marketing than an actual reserve. Throwing shitcoins in there just makes it seem like a pump and dump scheme.

    @DonnyMost thoughts?
