eh every incumbent in the world with elections last year lost because of inflation prices. They just didnt have a moron like Trump as the alternative. But the democrats are terrible at messaging in general considering how how impactful many bills they passed and Biden avoided a significant downturn/recession coming out of COVID and by most economic metric was doing well enough. Biden also took too long to leave but It wasnt like the GOP got their even more flawed candidate to leave either.

But Trump will get the MAGA-verse to believe he got Mexico and Canada to blink. Mexico sent 15,000 troops to the border in 2019, and sent 10,000 again in 2021. All Trump had to do was try some diplomacy and ASK. (Not that he has the guts to sit down and face the leaders of the nations he's going to f*** over for no good reason). But there's a grift in here somewhere. Trump and/or the gajillionaires close to him must have some sort of angle to play the market in all this. And so many Americans are either too stupid or too gullible to understand that Trump's got the Viagra, he's got the lube, bending them over like a prison b**** (or hiring someone to do so). I had a nice conversation with a very decent 90 year-old dude at The Woodlands mall. Originally from Nebraska. We actually had a lot of talking points in common (FDR, Churchill) but he had voted for Trump despite "hating a lot of what Trump says" and "hoping Trump doesn't issue the tariffs, we'll all be paying more" and wishing "Trump would just let things go, he's always holding a grudge", and I was aghast, wishing I could just scream, "Why the f*** did you vote for him, then?!?!
