Answer his statement. Do you believe rights should be taken away from LGBT, minorities and women?

There was nothing to answer, he believes those things are going to be done and I make fun of him for those beliefs. What he's referring to is when I said that if his lynch mob buddies are successful they'll deserve what happens to them which will be Amy Coney Barrett who really will take away rights like abortion. Kavanaugh probably won't, or at least he likely wouldn't have before the Democrats pulled this BS. It's anyone's guess what'll happen now that they've made themselves his enemies.

I think in reality it is unlikely for any actual rights to be taken away, that's really the domain of the left who seek to take from the people and empower the federal government.

Again, I'm not the one that thinks it's okay to take rights away from people to spite the other political party. You are.

That makes you a pretty terrible person. It's not hard to say I'm morally superior to people who think it's fine to have possible rapists on the SCOTUS or people who aren't moved at all by what happened in PR and how our president did nothing about it. It's not difficult to say you are morally superior to people that don't give a single F about what happens to kids on our border.

It's not hard to be morally superior to someone who cares nothing for the rights of their own countrymen and women just so that their party can get a W.

If you think this is a hard concept to grasp 'kiddo' then ask yourself this question. Are you morally superior to a Nazi?

So yeah, this makes me morally superior to this guy.

Again, I've told you many times that taking away rights is for the left, not the right. Either way though, it's funny seeing someone on board with a lynch mob talk about moral superiority. I laugh at you because you are ridiculous and you are too blinded by moral panic to see how ridiculous you are. I'm sure in your mind you are surrounded by Nazis or whatever and that justifies you supporting all manner of awful things....just like all awful people who get swept up in a moral panic.

The good news is that this kind of thing is temporary, either you'll realize the error of your ways, or enough people will and you'll just be like the old man yelling at clouds.

I suppose it's good that you guys aren't burning people at the stake quite yet, but the moral panic is still funny to everyone not caught up in it. You honestly shouldn't expect to hear much besides people laughing at you or taking the piss.

I'll probably do a mixture of the two, especially when you melt down upon Kavanaugh being confirmed. I'm REALLY looking forward to that.

Absolutely, that's my opinion....but you know what isn't merely an opinion? The fact that there has never been anything more dangerous or vile in the history of humanity than when people believe themselves to be morally superior to others. Those kinds of people always end up justifying the most awful things in the name of their moral superiority. Hopefully you see the light one day, and hopefully things don't get too bad but it's a pattern that has repeated itself for the entirety of humanity's existence.

Doesn't surprise me that the conversation went over your head, just keep preparing those crosses to burn in front yards of people you disagree with and the rest of us will discuss what is really going on.

I don't want us to be holding these kids. I sure as hell don't want them released into the interior of the country though. I want them the f*ck out of this country. OUT OUT OUT. Any laws preventing this country from expelling those who have illegally violated its sovereignty need to be changed immediately.

I mean, you know, well, you know, when all you can do is take the most polarizing statement possible to avoid debating the crux of an argument, essentially, essentially, you care more about politics than change. Essentially, essentially, you don't want to deal with the quality of life of the already 20 million undocumented immigrants and chain babies... you just want sensationalist headlines based on the kids of 300-500 criminals. Why are you so scared to debate the fact that partisans, democrats and conservatives know the principles of this nation will collapse if you have open borders? Do you not have any light in your life that you can't try to work on what needs to be worked on?

You have a chance to address actual change, but you just want to get angry on the internet.

I have fully disclosed from the beginning I am partisan and looking for change. I agree with more liberal issues than conservative, but clearly liberals are much worse at rationally making their points and engaging in the kind of dignified conversation that enables change. And let's be honest, Trump isn't demo or repub either, he's just catering to target groups.

It's very simple, if you want actual change, focus on the undocumented immigrants already in the country. You cannot improve their quality of life, or those legal citizens in the middle, if the only thing you have the balls to be vocal about is the children of criminals who know what they're doing is no tolerance. All sides agree open borders are unacceptable. How small and selfish are you to only care about the kids of 300-500 criminals when there are 20 million undocumented in the country who need actual help? And they can't receive it if you stay lenient and pretend like borders don't exist with the traffic that keeps coming in.

It is one thing to detain illegal immigrants, its another thing to separate kids from their families simple cos they are illegal immigrants. Only someone who lacks even a modicum of compassion for others would be separating kids from their parents like is being done, and trying to justify it in the name of some solution to an immigration problem, like you tried to do, is even worse.

As to the immigration problem, the first thing you address is the influx. Only after you have a reasonable control of the influx can you focus on finding a lasting solution to those already in the system. Doing the reverse, like you suggested, is like bailing out water in a sinking boat without sealing the big hole in hull - the only thing you will achieve is tiring out before drowning. You might be better served to save your energy, fold your arms and drown peacefully.

To fix the influx problem, the govt should be focused on the primary sources of illegal immigrants, and from all indication, that seems to be people on overstayed visas and not illegal border crossings from mexico. Even if illegal border crossings are an issue, without sufficient data in support of the argument, I dont see the justification for spending billions of tax payers money on building and maintaining a wall, as opposed to adding more personnel and/or technology (like infra red camera drones). There doesnt seem to be any data to suggest we have said problem talk less that building a wall will solve it. Unfortunately neither party is genuinely interested in solving the immigration problem simply for selfish political reason,

But given a choice, I would still accommodate the liberals over people that are gullible enough to believe that immigrants are the source of their problems when in truth the GOP politicians they keep voting for have sold them down the drain. California and New York are predominantly liberal states and have the highest number of illegal and legal immigrants, yet they are 2 of the top 3 state by GDP - I dont see them complaining.

    The system is broken
Which is fine for some because it breaks in their direction
    and
They are able to use the fact that it is broken as a reason for corrupting it

The problem is America is too corruption
This is not really about immigration
The immigrants just satisfied a need
    1. Something to scare people with
    2. Something to use as product to take american's money and put it in to the hands of the rich
    3. Something blame for other problems

Illegal Immigrant are just so useful . .. and probably too useful to totally eliminate.

I agree with you to an extent, but I think you might undersell the racial/ethnic motivations of a guy like Miller. The guy clearly wants to make America whiter or decrease the rate at which it is turning browner.

Miller and his cronies know that separating Mexican and Latin American families (of illegal immigrants) has an incredible chilling effect on recent legal immigrants who are already here (who may say "f this" and go back to their country of origin or go elsewhere) and on people who are considering legal immigration into the U.S. from Central and South America. Any reasonable person in their shoes would be thinking, "is this **** worth it? Could that crazy wedo split up my family or make us sit in a hot tent for months or years?"

And, for a guy like Miller, if it makes a fifth generation full citizen of Mexican heritage feel less comfortable in America, less likely to engage society around him, and less likely to vote, etc., all the better. Believe that. This guy is not a smart person, a noble person, a good person, or anyone any American should want near positions of power. I know conservatives want to either excuse his actions and past statements or just wave their hands and say he doesn't have much influence with 45, but methinks they are just ignoring a very uncomfortable truth of Dear Leader's operation.

Texas (#2 on your list) never complained either. The GOP was very pro-business and viewed cross-border immigration as a vital part of that, which it of course is. It was only when the Tea Party/Dan Patrick/Trump types started getting traction that it became an issue here, and it's still not that big a deal compared to what you hear from the rest of the country.

Are you a man of conviction, or more likely, a man WITH convictions...for say, child abuse, endangerment or neglect? ?

Come work at Trump's children's concentration camps on the border.
