Since two thirds of clutch fans would trade true love for $10 million, I thought that this would be appropriate. If you are happily married, how much would a billionaire have to pay to sleep with your spouse for one night?
Never been married but had a girlfriend for 4 years and another for two. I would take a copper penny if they WANTED to do it. Otherwise no amount of money would be enough. Their bodies are not mine to sell.
As the poll says: "If you are happily married". In that case, I don't believe that they have the right to sell their body either without your consent. It's obviously a joint decision.
I disagree...even if you have benefit of clergy it is still their body. Of course you have the right to leave them if you insist on monogamy..but it is still ultimately their decision.
I voted for the $10 mill in the other thread because I think true love is a concept that does not really exist. For this question, there is no amount of money I would take. I can't imagine life without my SO now. Sounds a bit contradictory, I know.
i can live without ever knowing true love and having ten million dollars. i can't live with selling my true love for ten million dollars.
Against her will? Never because I do have some morality, even if it is just a little bit. But I wouldn't mind having a discussion with her regarding whether the benefits, like being able to provide for our parents, our children's education, retirement plan, and other stuff though.
I don't think a poll on this question will ever be accurate. I believe if this situation ever presented itself, the breakdown would be: 90% - Not gonna happen 5% - Desperate financial situation (no choice) 5% - Swingers (can seperate sex and love)
I'm not married so I'm not going to vote but if I were I think it would have to depend on who was making the indecent proposal and under what terms I was married say for instance if I was in an arranged marriage or my marriage was on the rocks or if I had kids and how old they were.
$100 Mil. Maybe even after I got $10 mil from the other offer. Maybe for a wife I should look swinger before conventional then
Wouldn't do it, ever. On the face of it, comprimising morals to satisfy greed sounds like a lose-lose to me. And the larger the dollar amount, the less appealing it is: because it means a bigger portion of my own prosperity is defined and shaped by a personal failing. I don't wanna have to make up some story - or brag about breaking someone's heart - everytime someone asks me how I make money.
i guess a good question would be, would you pay 100million to sleep with ANYONE? even if you were a billionaire.
