I have a 2005 Ford Lariat 4 door, and the price at the pump is got me thinking about trading it for a car. Im just having a hard time, cause i dont want to end up regretting my trade. Anyone that has had a truck, and has traded for a smaller vehicle, how do you feel about it now? What would you do?
I traded down. I still have truck, but now it's a Chevy Colorado (best gas mileage among trucks that tow 5000 pounds). I love it. I think it's the perfect truck for people who don't really like trucks.
Fuel costa are hurting me for sure driving my big, heavy, diesel Dodge megacab, so I just keep telling myself that no matter how bad I feel right now, I'd feel a lot worse if I was driving a Toyota Prius........and I got hit by a big, heavy, diesel Dodge megacab.
Buy a house within walking distance of your job instead. Then you get the added benefit of sleeping in and staying up later.
