I can't lock the driver side door of my Toyota truck. It's not an electronic issue, because all my locks are manual. Because this isn't an engine issue, I'm not sure if it's worth paying the extra $$$ to have the repair done at the dealer. Any recommendations for a repair shop that could fix this problem?

^ Agree. It's not that bad. Remove the screws and be careful poping the panel loose. I just (as in today) got my son's truck fixed (but it was a handle latch problem). This was a Dodge Ram but what they did was connect metal rods to the latch with a cheap piece of plastic which is very susceptible to breaking.

The only "trick" is removing the crank handle (assuming no power lock means no power window). There is a horseshoe clip that holds the crank on. Removing this without the clip going flying off can be tricky.
