    I hadn't seen this mentioned before, from http://foxsports.com/nba/stories/bkcap_rockets.sml :

I didn't get this vibe at all, nor have I seen much "shot-clock-murdering, backing-down" from Taylor. Besides, Mobley is the king of "shot-clock-murdering". This sounds like someone with an preconceived notion of how Taylor would fit in with the new Rockets' style.

    Nor did I.....

What I saw was Mo facing up, spotting up, driving, dishing, and overall fitting in well. I saw no reason to believe he has been trying to utilize the post as stated above. Sure, he gets position and calls for the ball from time to time, nothing wrong with that. But he is not imploring the "Barkley-esque" back it down style.

Not sure what the writer is seeing or hearing.

Only concern is, are these guys willing to share the ball ? Our starting 5 consists of players who could all average 12-15 a game (some more then that). As long as we win, I don't care.

I don't get all the crap about this "backing it in" offense. Any low post player worth a damn has a move where they have their back to the basket and "back it in"

    Shaq does it.
    Robinson and Duncan do it.
    Mourning does it.

The point is it is just another offensive weapon that works great for alot of players. The only reason people trash it is because it takes time off the clock, well guess what cynics, so does dribbling the ball!! I'd take Barkley "backing it in" over 99% of all NBA players jump shot any day.

I shot off a letter to the editor making note all of Randy's inaccuracies. Never underestimate the power of one voice!

Did any of you guys catch this comment?

I would definitely not agree with that assesment.
