Terence who was known as TRock to those close to him looks like he had another good game. Maybe someone can post the details for tonight's game (Saturday). Jeff, thanks for the previous descriptive recap!!! Houstone, TRock (TRocket) learned to be a team player at Thomas Johnson HS in Frederick, Md. When the game was on the line he wanted the ball, when the team was up a large amount of points, he would always pass off to teammates even if he had a sure basket. He could have scored big in high school but Terence was content to pass. At Maryland, if the Terps were playing a patsy (automatic "W") he would shoot very little unlike other players who would pad their stats. In all my years of watching basketball, Terence is one of the most unselfish players if not the most unselfish player. A true "Team player", a Red Auerbach type player. FREDTERP
TMo finished some plays w/ some nice jumpers inside the arc. He is definitely shooting w/ more confidence now. He also had a nice putback layup in traffic. I am most impressed w/ his active rebounding so far. He has a good knack for coming off the weakside to snare unexpected boards. I must say, though, in last nite's game Paul Pierce just absolutely torched him. But then, you would expect a player like Pierce to do that to a new rookie.
Pippen, thanks for the update. Up here in Frederick, Md, we don't get to see many Rocket games. All we get is boxscores. FREDTERP
Fred Terp, for about $40 a month for 4 months, you can watch as much nba as you can take with league pass. I think if given the chance, he can become a 13-14 pt per game scorer. We'rer wasting our time with williams and rice, but the thing that squeezes hi out is Rudy's constant use of Cat at the 3 spot. I don't understand that one.
I think when Rice retires after next season, T-Mo is going to be our starting SF. He can score, but his most valuable attribute would be hardwork and defense. Rebounding, shotblocking, passing. He's shown he can do all that, and any scoring would be a welcomed bonus. With a line-up of: Cato Griffin Morris Cat Francis 6th man: Mo Taylor We have a solid defensive team, that will be incredible at rebounding and shotblocking.
I hate to pull MoTaylor out of the starting lineup because he always was instant offense in the 1st quarter. If he comes back next season with that same knack, there is no way MoTaylor sits on the bench in the 1st. I like TMo's game a lot, but until he shows more offense, I like TMo's defensive skills coming off the bench.
