I just got turned on to this great site that lets you coordinate all your travel itenerary into one easy to read log that syncs with your phone or calendar.

Tripit.com is the site, and all you have to do is sign up, and then forward your emails for the hotels, airplane travel, trains, etc....and it creates one long itenerary for you automatically.

    That is AWESOME !!!

    I highly recommend it.

And there is an Iphone APP....I love technology.

No, I am just sharing an awesome bit of tech.

    I am traveling tomorrow to:

    Dallas for a day
    Manchester for 2 days
    Amsterdam for 2 days
    Cologne for 4 days
    London for 1 day
    Back to Austin

Hotels, planes, Trains, everything is coordinated by just this one website, it is amazingly easy...and allows me to share it with my wife etc so she has somewhere to go and get phone #s etc in case something happens.

    It is really cool.

I've been using it. You can integrate it with Linkedin, too. Not sure you want all your Linkedin contacts to always see where you are, though.

    I have a question:

How long does it take to get a passport these days?

Is it fastest to do online?

I had to get extra pages added to my passport the day before I was traveling internationally. To do this (or to apply for an entirely new passport altogether), you have to wait in line at the US Passport office in your city.

There is one in Houston, and I really recommend you show up 1 hour before they open to get a spot in line. I did this (got there at 8AM), they opened at 9AM, and I was out of there by 9:30AM. You can pick up your passport later that same afternoon.

so how exactly does this relate to Von again?

pretty cool most of my travel is mainly west coast states so it may not be useful for me but I recommended it to another friend who flies out east all the time, turns out he already used it.

A trip to Greece sounds exciting, maybe I can catch an Olympikos vs Panathanikos game.

Need to bump this, I am using it more and more, scheduling meetings everything.

And I joined the pro version which sends me text updates about where my luggage is, if flights are delayed everything.

This is a must have app if you travel.
