So the bad news is that I broke up with my girlfriend of three years. Yet the good news is that now I have the time and impetus to catch up with all my buddies.

I am flying to San Antonio on the 17th to visit my best buddy from high school, and we will go to Rockets at Spurs, which will be my first time to see the Rockets live. We are then going to drive down to Houston to visit, and perhaps go to Pistons at Rockets if I can convince my buddy.

Any must-go places in San Antonio or Houston? A) Sights B) Restaurants and C) Bars?

If you've never been to San Antonio before, the Riverwalk is a must. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area.

Check out Downtown Houston, there are many bars. Maybe you will talk to Sura.

In San Antonio, there were a lot of cool bars in and around the downtown and near the river walk...Zen bar (???) and one in a hotel (M bar???)...You have to see the Alamo as well, if you've never been...

In Houston, hang out downtown on main street...Tons of places to hang out like Slainte's, Whisky bar (in Hotel Icon), etc...

    Have fun...

If you're going to the riverwalk, Dick's (the restaurant) is a MUST.
