We drove to Dallas from Austin for game 2 yesterday and it was the best game i have ever been to in my life. Completely worth the drive. About 40 miles outside of Dallas we even had a tornado from right behind us. so I accelerated a little and kept on going. Once we get to Dallas, we go to the Hooters next to the stadium. We are getting stared down like crazy. We are in our rockets gear. But thats not even what they were payin attention to. My roommate made a shirt that had the score from the first game and said "Big D...not so big after all..." and also "DALLAS SUCKS!" Then we get to the stadium a little early and see Bowen and Sura n Barry shoot around. I yelled out "Dirk Stopper" and Bowen turned around and smiled at us. During the game, we cheered on the rockets like crazy. Always throwing in the insult towards the Mavs. We were gettin stared down by everyone and were loud enough to where alot of people noticed we were there. Then at the last McGrady shot we went so crazy, and you could tell everyone around us was ready to kill us. Needless to say, after the game there were many people telling us to take our jerseys off or to get the hell out of there. We had a little fun and talked a lil smack back to them. Then when we got in the car, we held out our jersey while we were driving by and told everyone that we would see them in Houston. A couple of guys even got pissed and started chasing our car. We eventually got bak to austin around 4am, surprisingly all in one piece. But we finally gave Dallas fans a taste of their own medicine. Any Dallas people here notice us? We were also interviewed by a local dallas news station before going into the stadium.
i was the guy with the Dallas Sucks! tshirt...some security guard thought it was inappropriate and told me to turn my shirt inside out!! i asked to talk to his supervisor (head of security at the AAC) and he said they have to be more strict because of the whole pistons/pacers brawl...
Hey Go Rox man! I live in Dallas, but I'm a true Houston Rox Fan. I was born in Houston and witnessed both championship runs and everything from Robert Reid to Steve Francis. I was at the game too with a YAO jersey on. Two hillbillies at the end of the game came up to me and said "houston sucks". Wow you inbred local, please come up with something new. I also had this other fan 2 seats in front of me try to start a fight with me. I really hate Dallas fans. The people in Dallas are so much more pretentious than Houston.
