I'm planning a trip to Chicago in mid July. I've never been so I don't know much about the city...Any one with advise on where to go what to see? What are some must see things, places to eat, things to do...I have 4 full days with my girl friend.

I'm headed there at the end of the month and have been a couple of times. Some places that I thought were were cool were: Wrigley Field(bleacher seats of course), Gino's East Pizza, The Field Museum, The Magnificant Mile (The Nike store is awesome), The Billygoat Tavern (its the curse of the Cubs place), and the ESPN Zone.

I am going for a long weekend next week with my wife. We're staying at the Palmer House Hilton, 2 blocks from Grant Park. We actually lucked out as it is Chicago Blues Festival weekend. The Red Sox are also in town at Wrigley, but tickets are currently going for a minimum of $250 - $300 ea. Probably going to have to do that next time.

Has any one here been to the Chicago Blues Fest before? I know it's huge and it's free. They estimate 750,000 people over the 4 days. The lineup seems to be all true Chicago and southern blues. Should be a good time.
