What is the one game or one play that first comes to mind when somebody says to you, Pete Chilcutt. Moment: I think of his block against Dan Marjerle in Game 7 of the Pheonix Series. Pete actually got like a foot off the ground and smacked Dan Marjerle's shot into the ground. ------------------ humble, but hungry. PSJ, do you think that one play or one game can really define a player of Petey's Calibur? I mean, there were so many moments that you could pick. What's funny is when I read that first line the first thing that came to mind was that block on Marjerle. ------------------
Two phrases never before seen in one sentence: Chilly Pete and Hang time. He's the only professional player ever whose vertical leap was less than mine. ------------------ "We're having a pretty good time considering one day we're all going to die." Steve Martin, 1976
The only time i remember Pete Chilcut, strangely enough, was also in Game 7 against the suns. The guy shot the lights out that game and that block on Majerle was nasty! ------------------ Dream Rejects Every Attempt Made
I think there is a link to his fan club page from airbullard.com in the links section. ------------------ Matt Bullard Fan Club www.AirBullard.com
The thing I remember most about Pete Chilcutt is this: There was a guy in my HS class who looked EXACTLY LIKE Pete Chilcutt. Even the same hair. Then he changed the hair, and he looked different, but originally, he was a splitting image. He was tall, and his name was also Pete ------------------ CC.net's most courteous driver Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a job right now, so hire me please
Eye rememrber the time wen Chilcut made that one shot against that guy. IT was hella-tizight,. Chilcut was the man that made that hellova shot to wins the game wasnt he? Or was that the othre guy, Olajuwan? Was it Olajuwan, or Chilcut? ------------------ Protrolls.com! Save Our Game Action Forum!
Dont forget his column in the Chronicle during the playoffs: "Chillin' With Pete". "Last night I was DNP-coaches decision. That stands for Did Not Play." What insight, what journalism. He was robbed of the Pulitzer that year!!!! ------------------
