I haven't followed much of the details of this but it sounds like this was horribly understaffed. I know it's easy to blame rap fans, the younger Tik Tok generation, etc.. but this isn't the first time people have died from getting trampled at a music festival. In 2010 21 people died from a crowd stampede at a German music festival and 11 died in in stampede at The Who's show in Cincinnati in 1980.

It's an unfortunate reality that when you get a lot of people together you need good crowd control with good ways of getting in and out. It sounds like this show didn't have either.

    ‘Rap’ fans
I didn’t get trampled at WuTang or Nas

the difference is that people were stomping on the ambulance and cop cars
Some people died cause people were too stupid

“I think it’s very important that none of us speculate. Nobody has all the answers tonight,” Finner said. “We’re going to do an investigation and find out because it’s not fair to the producers, to anybody else involved, until we determine what happened,” he said.

I doubt Travis Scott knew what was going on. He was on that platform high above.

I blame the Travis Scott burger…the end of this video was eerily and very disturbingly similar to what transpired at Astroworld
