....maybe. I have an opportunity to do some short-term consulting work for a small company in Venezuela. It would require me to spend about 3 weeks in country with 5 other folks my age (late 20s). I'm definitely interested in it for the standard reasons, but the political climate makes me wonder if it's a good idea. Anybody been there recently that may have some tips or general information?

No tips, but I do have a good friend who returned from a two year stay there recently with no problems. And yes, the Venezuelan chicas are Super HOT! You must go
Make sure your cell phone has good coverage there. I'm not sure if it is a good thing or not if your "handlers" have machine guns or not.
Its only for 3 weeks, plus the chicks are hot hot hot...I've been to Caracas once and it was great...We had dinner one night on the side of the mountain outside under the stars...great place... No brainer...
