Bring an AK-47, a few grenades, and some autographed pictures of Saddam and bin Laden. Have a great trip! :)

    A car...

Canada is pretty much the 51st state. Just remember that the speed limit signs are in kilometers per hour and not miles per hour, so don't whine to any cops when you get caught driving 120. :)

You don't even need ID to get into Canada while driving...they just stop and ask you for the toll money. Although on the drive back, you'll get asked for a driver's license, is all. No real worries there...

Blah, what a sucky drive, Houston to Canada!

To get into Canada, you should have your passport with you, and any sort of proof of US citizenship/residency. It's harder to get back into the States than to go into Canada.

Getting back in to the US is the trick. Canada lets anyone in. Make sure you have proof of US Citizenship. For some reason a Voters Registration card doesn't work. I'd bring my birth certificate just to be safe.

A passport was required when I flew there in September.
