I've been lurking on this bbs for awhile. I always wanted to watch them in a game during training camp. I wanted to know if that was possible and if it is how do I go about to doing it?

They do close all training camps even to the media who is allowed in only at the very end during shootaround. This is pretty common for most camps.

Once they break camp and come back to Houston, it is not uncommon for the Rockets to hold an "open practice" and invite the public. They've done this the past couple of years and people seem to enjoy it.

It is usually towards the end of training camp which would give them enough time to do it with Yao in camp.

oh ok cool! when the next open practice is around can someone post the place and time so i can watch them play?? :) I know im not as hardcore as most of you guys who have actually paid to watch them play because I've never seen them play in person. I am too cheap to watch them play during the regular season but I've been in love with basketball ever since I was a kid. I try to watch all their games on tv even before they won those championships and still did when they had losing seasons.
