McGrady was there today ... got audio from Francis, T-Mac, Adelman, Scola and Mike James. If my laptop battery doesn't die, that will be coming shortly...
Thanks Clutch! Who was that guy who interrupted Adelman's interview? And also did you get to ask any questions Clutch?
Good question ... I'll have to go back and check. I asked a handful yesterday, but didn't ask anything myself today .... I was snapping photos and holding the mic. We got to watch some of practice... Rafer-Francis-James were all on the same team. I'll post more on that soon. All the audio from Training Camp Day 1 is up.
[austin camp] McGrady WAS at practice today I don't have many details, but McGrady showed up and practiced today, reporting earlier than originally expected.
how did he look? i'm really interested in the weight he comes in with. and the stamina and explosiveness he has immediately at camp. that will tell a big story. hopefully he's around 215lbs. we need to use this camp as THE adjustment period and not waste games during the reg. season. we can get the best record. we have to get it.
Morey was saying how close Tracy was to his grandfather, how the grieving process might take a little while. Since that's all probably true, this shows how dedicated to basketball McGrady is - that he's anxious to get himself moving towards a sense of normalcy, and that the court is where he figured he'd find that.
You can listen to the iterviewe on the front page. He says he is at 225 now and he played at 230 last season. I think he plans to lose some more weight , he mentioned about getting his legs quicker.
now that's more like it. if he comes in at 225, he should be able to lose arond 3-4 lbs by opening night. and you lose some throughout the season, so yea, i expect around 215 as his playing weight. *******, tmac at 230lbs, no wonder he looked kind slow last yr.
Thanks Clutch the interviews were great , share every information you got we are desperate. How did Francis look was he quick and explossive? P.S I think it was Bonzi that interrupted Adelman because he said something like "here's my coach" , just a guess though.
Yep , and also the additional weight can't be good for his back. T-Mac should play at 225 max , he is a finesse player not a power player. I like you hope he is around215-220 when the season starts.
Clutch I speak for a lot of people here when I say we are forever indebted to you and all your efforts. I cant wait to hear all the stuff from training camp.
Ahaha, Mike James is my favorite. He says some funny stuff but at least you know he's being real and not trying to B.S. anyone.
cool cant wait...oh btw is there any reason to doubt that t-mac wont be at open practice next monday?
Clutch, can you please write us an 8 page essay on what you observed, heard, liked, disliked, detail about each players, etc and please include pictures. Thanks
