Does anyone else here watch this? It airs on Showcase and is frickin' hilarious. The episode with the lion in the field eating their dope plants, and then putting it into detox afterwards had me rolling with laughter. This show is awesome. http://www.trailerparkboys.com/ http://www.showcase.ca/trailerparkboys/
people "watch" this a "show" "airs" on this. a link going directly to this television networks page for this show is present in front of you and you can click on it and check it out if you wish. for sixteen hundred dollars...Nashvegas with the buzz-in. "what is showcase?" you are correct - you are the leader going into the final round of jeopardy, congratulations.
Geez, you guys don't have to get snippy about it. I've never heard of a cable channel called Showcase either. There are other places in the country that don't have the same programming as yours does.
I've never heard of it either...It had curb your enthusiasm and Da Ali G show advertisements... Anyway, it looks funny, now only if I can find it...
As far as I know, the only station that you can see it on in the U.S. is BBC America (and it's slightly censored - they say **** but bleep out the f-bombs). Also, BBC America is apparently only airing the first season (which they've gone through three times now!). It's a truly funny show.
That sucks. They are essentially cutting out 30% of the show. Yeah, it's still a bit of an underground, cult thing in the US. In Canada, it's become mainstream and now has a huge following. I only started watching it a few weeks ago and can't wait to get caught up on all the episodes I missed.
Exactly. There are stations on my Dish Network that if you told me I had them, I don't know if I'd believe you or not.
Good grief. From the context of my original post, it should have been blatantly obvious that Showcase is a TV station. What else could it possibly be? What else do TV shows air on??? I even provided a link, for pete's sake!
I like this show although I don't watch it religiously. I like that dude with the coke bottle glasses. He cracks me up as do some of those other characters. I was actually introduced to this show because they did an episode where Alex Lifeson of Rush participated and it was done before and during the Vapor Trails tour. It was really funny. I recommend you catching that episode if you can. I think it is on the Internet and I think I know where it is. I'll post the link if anyone is interested.
Damn dude, chill out...your getting work up over a freakin' TV show about a freakin' trailer park...get a life...
Not any more lame then getting worked up about someone asking a simple question, one many probably had on the board. We all knew it was a television station, just didn't know what kind, hence, "what is Showcase?". BTW, I just looked at my Dish Network guide and asked myself, "What is Fuse?". I know it's a television station, just not one I'd ever heard of. Just like Showcase.
Why don't you address the points I made in my second last post instead of just saying how worked up I'm getting? That's a cop-out. I'm not really worked up, BTW.. just amazed that there are people who couldn't figure out that Showcase is a TV station from the context of my original post. It just boggles me. Some people wouldn't know a frying pan if they were hit over the head with it.
Read my edit. I don't think people were wondering if Showcase was a television station, they were wondering what kind it was. I don't know what Fuse is, other than the fact that it's a television station on my Dish Network.
I saw it when I was in Vancouver last week. It was okay, but I prefer the show that has the sock puppet and the long haired guy--probably because it has nekkid chicks getting into hot tubs. Those Canadians are much more further advanced than we are.
