These guys are nuts. http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/jackass2/internet_lg.html I hope they get paid well.
I loved the first one...Laughed all the way through it. Hopefully they deliver the goods (cheap laughs) again.
The best part about the Jackass movies is that it's not a problem for people to talk during the movie. It was kind of like Rocky Horror or something. It made it even more fun to go see.
I'm gonna have to bust out my old Jackass DVDs and watch them now, I forgot how funny there stuff is.
You know, you think that they can't possibly top the last one, and then you see Johnny Knoxville get run over by a bull. I watched the first one last week with my brother, so stupid, so funny.
I used to frequent a Hollywood Video near my home, and I'd usually be picking up the arty-farty flicks I tend to enjoy. I knew most of the counter staff. When I brought the 'Jackass' DVD up to rent it the guy at the counter looked at me and said, "......really?" I think that kind of softened the blow for the next day when I rented some Star Trek movies.
On wikipedia they got a list of known stunts and skits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackass:_Number_Two Now I know why he says he's ashamed of himself at the end of the trailer.
It amazes me that people would do these stupid things to themselves. You watch YouTube and see kids doing the DDT to each other while jumping off their roof. Eating praying mantises. Hitting each other with baseball bats barely covered with pillows. It really is a sad commentary on our culture. That said, I laughed a lot at the first movie so I'll likely rent this one too.
I enjoyed the first one immensely and I look forward to part 2. If they find a way to top the absolutely gut wrenching bit where they were paper-cutting their mouths with the envelope, I will be impressed.
Oddly enough, I thought the 'golf course airhorn' bit was the funniest bit from the first movie. I loved the 1st movie and I welcome as many sequels as they are willing to do. It's good to see Knoxville back as well. I was starting to think he considered himself too good for it now that he's been in a few 'normal' movies. He should stick to what he knows....making an ASS of himself for laughs.
Well, I think his acting career was largely a flop. And with good reason, the guy was freaking terrible.
