    For all the criticism he's received his years past for his questionable rotations, this must have been an incredibly cathartic year for him. To have this team, with all its injury problems, solidly sitting in the playoffs at this point is nothing short of excellent. Congrats to him.

    This is good news for Rocket fans. I thought if Adelman were to leave next year Portland might have been one of the destinations. Scratch that one off the list. I doubt he actually retires cold turkey.

    Yeah, he's one of the better coaches in this league.

    I woudn't want him over Adelman though.

    Definitely has done an admirable job given the mess he's had to deal with.

    Earlier in the season when everything was going wrong, I thought it was time for Nate and Portland to separate. I was dead wrong.

    Dang, there goes of our coaching options is Les were to let Rick go. And let's be honest people, if Les really wanted Rick to be the coach beyond this season he would of made him sign a extension already.

    Blazers will make a first round playoff exit like they always do. They're good enough to just barely make the playoffs, but not good enough to do anything once they're there.
