Ok, can someone try to clear this up for me if possible, I'm alil confuse. Back in 2007, my uncle got a speeding ticket and this family-friend guy normally handles it for him ... reschedule court date ... and have it dismiss. Well, for some reason lately he's being getting Notices from the Houston Municipal Court for NOT Appearing on the court date (possible warrant for arrest). I'm not sure what was happenin' with this situation this whole time, is the first time I saw the notices (is 2010). My uncle try to call the family-friend the past weeks and can't get a hold of him. So, basically I just told him to go in the court-house and pay the fines before it gets worst. Then tonite my uncle called me back and told me he talked to another friend who work at some kind of law firm I think. He just told me "hey so and so told me to just go in and pay for the "bond" and it can be reschedule and I can get your "money" back". At this point I'm confuse. Can you even go to the court house to pay for bond? or do you have to go to one of those "BAIL BOND" place outside the court house. Can I even pay bond for him with his ID since he has to work tomorrow? Does anybody know how this process with the "bond" work? and what am I surpose to do tomorrow. At first, I thought he was goin to just give me the COURT FINES money and I head down to the court house in downtown and pay it. What's up with this "bond" thing?
