Lets say I decide to stay for the entire Texans game on Sunday, and it gets out at 3:30 or something.

How long will it take me to get out of the parking lot?

I have to go to the boonies (aka Copperfield) for dinner at my mother in laws and need to give her a time.

Do you know where you are parking?

My experience leaving the stadium has always been pretty smooth, but I don't think I've ever left going that way on 610.

You are in luck my friend.

Due to the fact that the Texans have been losing, the house usually starts clearing out at half-time. By 4th quarter 3/4 of the crowd are gone.

I don't live too far from Copperfield and will guestimate your time of arrival to be around 4:45. You should get out of the parking lot in less than 30 minutes, but the rest is not asbad as last year.

I'd anticipate no more than 40 thousand in attendance, between the last 3 weeks and the "draw" of Arizona. My personal guess is that stadium will be less than half-full for the first time.

Barring any unforeseen event, the total trip should be less than 2 hours. Perhaps you should take 610 and not 288.

When I read the thread title, I was sure that it was the butt end of a joke.

Yeah..I'm clueless now. I had season tickets for years 1+2 and then moved to NYC at the beginning of season 3. So glad I sold the PSLs.

Unfortunately, the Texans stadium experience seems to drop off a bit when it comes to traffic control *leaving* the games. I park in the Yellow Lot and they do a terrible job getting cars out of the lot after the game. Instead of allowing some of the traffic to leave out of the side gate, they favor the people in the Purple Lot and force all the yellow lot cars to leave out of the main gate. And they don't have enough people to help direct cars inside the lot, so its mostly a free for all to get out of there. There are games where it takes an hour just to get out of the lot!

As an earlier poster says, many people bail out early and since I saty to the bitter end, leaving the stadium is a lot easier, parking lot traffic control is the one area that needs improvement ('course, player acquisition and game planning issues could use a bit of improvement too... ).

In the yellow lot, you are usually better off leaving early, or staying late.

This is my 4th year in the yellow lot and agree with you.

If the Texans had a winning record, it would be hella worse.
