I think Seattle would go for this. Would you do it? SF: Walt/*/Matt PF: Rashard/Kenny/Carlos C: Kelvin/Hakeem?/Venson PG: Stevie/Moochie SG: Shandon/Cuttino * - either trade Bryce for a back-up 3 or if we get another first rounder draft Chris Carrawell or Desmond Mason (or maybe even Edjuardo?). It's scary that Desmond Mason has a higher vertical than Steve Francis and is 3 inches taller. ------------------ Rockets fans wanted at hoopsboards.com Draft Chat, NBA Chat, Team Chat, and more!
Where's Mobley in your whacked up sinario. Mobley is playing that much better than most of the guys he was drafted with, including Lewis. But, the 1st round pick for lewis I would do. But keeping Mobley in town is key. ------------------
Desmond Mason had the ability to be a superstar in college but was too inconsistent. If he can harness his ability he could be an all-star but he is streaky and often takes the night off. I would take a chance on him as he is so unbelievably athletic and would fit right in with this offense(he can really run the fastbreak and work well in a motion offense, just lob it and he'll come down with it). ------------------
Vince, why not just delete your post?? Rashard for our pick...hmmm. Sure what the hell. ------------------ The lottery sucks!
hmm. well we could pick the player for them and then make the trade. i believe an unsigned first round pick counts toward the cap (like Turkcan did). I'd be willing to add Bryce Drew (is he better than Shammond Williams?) and maybe Carlos Rogers too. I agree that it would be up to Lewis to push the Sonics into it.
I'd be tempted. I don't know if Seattle would be. It'd only happen if Lewis pushed it and demanded to be dealt to Houston. Of course, I don't believe picks are worth anything in trade, so we'd probably have to give them someone else too. ------------------
