Recently Popeye, Clutch, and a few others have reported that we are looking to move up in the draft. Most likely our pick would be swapped in this deal. Does anyone know if these trades depend on the pick being #9? ------------------ Rudy's tips on how to win. #1. Score more points than the other team.
So what you're asking is do these trades that may not exist depend on a lottery position we have yet to decide? I have no idea. My guess is that any shot at moving up in the draft would require us to trade our #9 pick, unless it's for a future draft pick and/or a Mobley. ------------------ ?
Yeah. For example, if trade talks went on with the Clippers, it went to the extent "assuming, we have #9, and you have #1, what would it take to get #1" Of course a trade would be different if we got a top 3 pick instead of #9, and I don't think we'd trade from #3, except maybe to move to #2 to get Swift, instead of Mihm ------------------ Rockets fans wanted at hoopsboards.com Draft Chat, NBA Chat, Team Chat, and more!
For the Rockets to move up in the Draft they MUST HAVE the 9TH pick. If they slip to 10, 11, or 12th any trade talks are over....... ------------------
