I'm serious. Since everyone's so eager to jump on his back for his poor numbers when he was only played 22 minutes, I say trade him. All of his friends are gone anyways and Houston fans are probably the quickest in the league to turn on their players despite the fact that these 'fans' don't even show up to their own home games. It happened with SF last year and now Yao this year. With Yao gone, TMac will be the next to be crucified, btw. Seriously, we should trade Yao and get someone else who can score, rebound, block shots all in one package....maybe we can drug Shaq and force him to play for us at gunpoint? Trade Yao now!!! For the sake of Houston and Yao's own sanity, trade him! Yao deserves better and the Rockets deserve better (if they can find another axis center of that calibre besides a blackmailed Shaq, that is.) Both sides will be happy. Opinions?
How can a player perform well when he has such fairweather fans? TMac regularly shoots under 35% while jacking up 18+ shots while Yao is crucified for shooting 50% yet only getting 6 shots and 22 minutes of playing time. And then there are the rik smits, shawn bradley comparisons, etc. Honestly, if you guys hate him so much, why are you so reluctant to let him go? Trade Yao Ming. He deserves better and the Rockets deserve better. Maybe the rockets can actually trade Yao for Dampier or Bradley since they are often compared to one another? I'm sure Dallas would gladly make up the difference in contract and certain Rockets fans would be getting what they want too.
