Anyone think there's anyway for us to land Barry? Does Clarence Weatherpoon's contract expire? Anyone know? I think we can use him in the rotation with Tmac and JJ. Just think. Barry would help us in 3 areas. 1. pushing the ball up the floor 2. he's one of the great shooters in this league once he gets going 3. rebounding.
Don't know about the contracts but I would love to get Barry on the team, thought they should have made a bigger push during the summer.
Why would you want Barry? He is riding the pine for the Spurs and is way overpaid for his contribution he is providing. Lets just knee jerk and bring in another overpaid bench warmer who contributes nothing to the team.
piatkowski pt. 2 the guy plays no/slow defense, which is probably the main reason popovich isnt playing him. i dont think jvg would let him play either. he wont even play nachbar, who has proven that if starting he can give you about 10 pts/5 rebs per game. but jvg wont play him cause his defense isnt up to his standards. instead he starts ryan bowen?
