I don't know his salary, but how about getting Keon Clark from the Nuggets for one of our trade bait people?
    (Drew, the Wiz, T-MASS, Grey)
He would at least give us some more size and another center for when Hakeem leaves.
Also, Denver needs another point guard to back up Nick the Quick and dump the ball into McD.(Drew?)

Crisco, you have to add RM95 and shanna to that list. We've been Walt fans through thick and mostly thin this year.

Has for the nuggets. I would love to get Clark, and I would give up anyone on that list except for Walt.

Is it any coincidence that we are the only team mentioned in the national anthem?

    I didn't think so!

We have a stronger, less fragile Keon Clark....his name is Kelvin Cato.

But Clark unlike Cato can score. Clark cannot play center, he lacks the size (height isn't a problem). The only person I would take off the Nuggets would be McDyess.

I wouldn't complain if the Rockets went after Raef LaFrentz either. He may be on the thin side, but he got game.

Hey RM95, I've supported the Wiz ever since he got here, I know he can be a valuable asset to this team, especially off the bench. I just haven't been as vocal as you have, I'm more of a "in-the-closet" Wiz fan. [IMG]

not that there's anything wrong with that!

Damn, after the game Williams had today, I am an officially out of the closet Wiz fan. [IMG] My apologies Crisco for having to smash your sick fantasies like Dream use to swat away shots in his prime, but I'm just don't hit from that side of the plate - if you know what I mean [IMG]

I would trade Cato Drew and Williams for Keon Clark, he has a desire to play the game that cato just does not show or posesses. I hate Cato's attitude on the court hes just a big whiner, plus like someone already said Keon has some low post presence. Plus Cato's more fragile than Keon.

I don't think we can accurately judge Cato's intensity this season. He seems plays to the level of competition or situation. At this point, Houston doesn't need Cato's intensity.

Denver has Cory Alexander to back up Van Exel. Is Billups still with Denver?

    University Blue,

So, let me take your Cato assessment a little further. If all the Rocket's played up to the level of the competition, we'd be a .500 club...woo hoo!!

Anybody remember that preseason game when everybody said Cato played with so much intensity that he even spit on anything that was moving...is it possible that he was just trying to get his contract and after he got it, he just doesn't care anymore? Clark's numbers seem to have more potential...he gets more rebounds and sometimes even some assists. I'd love to get LaFrentz, but I don't think they would trade him. Don't want McDyess, because he didn't want to come to Houston last year.

Clark's legs are way too skinny for his body.
They are just an accident waiting to happen.

That screen name reminds me. Bo Outlaw is another player I would take over Cato any day.
