it is my opinion that the Rockets should trade Bryce Drew and the Exemption to the Clippers for a resigned Maurice Taylor. Maurice Taylor is a young explosive PF that has proven he can score in this league..... He would be a great compliment to our backcourt, and could come at a much cheaper price than originally thought....... Fantasy, Why would he "compliment" our backcourt? OK, the guy can score 17-20 ppg, but I would hardly call him explosive. He came from the friggin Clippers!! Who else was going to shoot the ball?! Also, the guy doesn't rebound so he won't be throwing any outlet passes to our guards. Brahma--don't be a little b*tch......don't play innocent and then get offended when you are wrong.....you were trying to call him out because you thought he believed Taylor was a gaurd.....When he obviously new Taylor was a PF...... Just because you post a lot, it doesnt mean you are intelligent. But you do have posting experience, and with that comes the ability to know how to handle a situation. Reread the posts. Brahma did read it wrong and was pointing out what he thought was a mistake, not in a mean or deragatory manner, but just to point it out, and that other guy comes back with dumbass and a very sarcastic post. I would be offended too. I have a fair number of posts (in a short period of time), but I certainly dont think I know more or have any more experience than anyone. I just think I like to talk about the rockets, the NBA, and other stuff with common basketball fans a lot and I happened to find this site before some other people or have more time on my hands. Back to Mo Taylor: The Clippers get nothing out of the deal. They've got a ton of rookies who would get on the court before Drew. And they have no use for the exception. Because they are below the cap, they wouldn't get a trade exception out of it. They wouldn't even get more cap space than they would if they just let Taylor walk, since they'd take on Drew's contract. And finally, what would they do with cap space or exceptions anyway, since those are just ways to spend more of Sterling's money, which is the last thing he wants to do. Besides that, I don't think Taylor is a good addition to the team. He's a good scorer and can hit a jumper, which is good. But two things we really need are rebounding and frontcourt defense and Taylor can provide neither.
