If we finish in 5th and Cleveland in 6th, I think we could work an interesting trade with them. I don't know if it is possible, but what if we trade Mo-Taylor and our Toronto pick if we get, which we should, for thier 6th pick. That way, we get Wilcox and Butler with our two picks. The Cavs get a capable scorer in Taylor, who could benefit being the #2 option instead of the 3rd here in Houston. He should do real well getting set up by Miller. Then, the Cavs can use that 14th pick we give them from Toronto for a 2 guard like Roger Mason. The Cavs will then have a solid point guard, a scoring PF, and they already have 2 good centers. The Rockets will Get Wilcox who could be a Ben Wallace type of Center, KT and Griffin will have to win the starting PF slot, Butler could step in and be a solid SF like Battier did for the Grizz except Butler would be more exciting, and Cat and Franchise already run the backcourt. I think this team could make the playoffs if everybody is healthy and in 2 years they could be serious contenders. That's my opinion, what do you guys think?

I'd rather offer Thomas and #14 for their #6. Don't forget -- they have three centers in Ilgauskas, Mihm and Diop. Mihm has not worked out well as their PF. He looks more comfortable at center. Now, if we don't get Ming, it would be nice to finagle Diop somehow, even though he is a project. With #5 and #6, we possibly could get Ming (especially if Denver wins the #1 -- how about it NugzFan, would you trade #1 for #5 and #6? or #1 for #3 and Cato?)

Hate to break it to ya', but we're stuck with Mo. No one is taking an injured player with a 6-year contract. He has the trade value of the wad of gum you might find under a seat at Compaq Center. :)

I simply don't buy this Mo Taylor Sucks Crap stuff. Kenny has been nothing short of erratic, and Eddie has long been bouncing against the brick rookie wall, flailing to get free but to no avail.

I liked watching Mo shoot, handle and drive in for hooks and dunks last year. The only downfall to his game is rebounding, IMO. He is a capable defender...sometimes.

But I still like him though. He's got one thing that we've been lacking this year....one thing that our guard couldn't make up for even if they tried.........

That was Luis Gonzales' gum that he chewed during game 7 of the World Series last year. It is a charity auction that is ongoing. Here's the story:

Fair enough...i guess the root of my anger is knowing that we are , in fact, stuck with him...:p

howd you know id even see this in a thread called "trade with cleveland"?

haha, of course id find it.

i defintely would not trade 1 for 3 and cato for obvious reasons.

i MIGHT do 1 for 5/6, but i need more info on pre draft camps to see who potentially might be awesome and who isnt.

besides, the nuggets will not pick 1st. i will be very pleased at 4 and excruciatingly happy at 3.

The gum isn't even from the world series...it's from a spring training game. I wonder what the guy who bought the gum is going to do with it.

I'd rather the Rockets obtain Mihm from the Cavs instead of their pick.
