Could we trade Cato, KT, the #1, and the #15 to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal and Brad Miller? I would do this trade in a heartbeat as I feel that Miller fits our team a lot better than Cato. And I shouldn't even have to elaborate on what a difference Jermaine would make. Is this a trade that Indiana would consider? Maybe something else could be thrown in to sweeten the deal so that we could acquire Artest also.

I would only consider the above deal if the Rockets can't get the assurances from the Chinese government that they need.

    Thoughts?

very interesting. if ming doesnt work out this would help our 4 and 5 spots. however we would have nothing to offer seattle or la for rashard or odom.

this would leave our sf position even rose that last year.

I don't think Ming would agree to play there. We have enough 4's,but Jermaine O'Neal is still damn good and Bender has some promise. By the way, Jermaine is probably untouchable

I'm assuming Indy would be drafting Jay with that pick, correct? That is a highly unlikely trade, since I'm pretty sure they won't deal Jermaine at all, and Jermaine doesn't want to play C. And if Miller was taken back for Artest, that would leave the Rockets with who at C? There are just two many things that wouldn't work with that trade.

Nope, probably would not work. Indiana is plannning to build its franchise around O'Neal, just like we are around Francis. They won't likely trade him like the Rockets likely won't trade Francis.

Although Jermaine is a top forward in the NBA, it still leaves us witht he glut at pf unless we find a way to send Mo too.
