Before I went a bit far. T Mac and Yao for numerous Boston players. T Mac and Battier instead. We can take 4-9 from the present Celtics. We need enough to make up for T Mac and Battier's salaries.

    Makes sense for both teams.

Celts tired of losing. T Mac & Pierce plus Battier and the rest of their players and some of ours can win now. They still have enough young talent to keep getting better, too. Battier can glue them toghether,of course.

Rockets. Tired of winning lots of meaningless regular season games ala JVG.. Durant at SF and Jefferson at PF along with Yao give the Rockets a good front line to build around Yao, who has not peaked yet. Both of those guys can rebound and block shots. Durant at least can shoot like crazy.

Variations. We could try to pick up the Celt's best PG also. Rafer of course would be expendable and we could add Hayes or another player or this year's first etc. Maybe they would like Novak or someone else on our squad aside from our new big three of Yao, Durant and Jefferson?

Another way to go is to just let Rafer start next year for the Rockets and finish as the primary shooter and distriubtor and slasher at the end of games. If Durant has a bit of a rookie struggle, and having traded T Mac, we might then fall into the next lottery and pick up Rafer's replacement. At this time next year we will be salivating over the top PG or two to come out.

Bingo. Near Instant rebuild around Chariman Yao.

Thank god we finally have a thread on the GARM for trade proposals. Boston would never do that. Durrant is going to be good as soon as he gets in the league and he'll be cheap. Jefferson is young and consistent. He would be the best player on a lot of other teams. T-Mac has had Back problems his whole career and is already not the player he used to be.

    Don't tell the Celts. Damn,you!

I'm glad you have seen a trade proposal. What does God have to do with it?

Much as I like Durant, I expect T Mac to be better than him for at least the next three years.

what's the obsession of trading with Boston?

Tmac is a talent that doesnt come often. I agree what Kenny said on TNT, Tmac did too much, he needs an facilitator to be more effective.

To me Yao might not be the player that can carry us tough time. I think Tmac still a couple of good years left in him, but we'd better find him some help before he breaks down completely.

I am not sure Boston will want to trade away a young budding big Al Jefferson for anybody on our team not named Yao. Let long send away Durant. Even if they would that, I dont see how this trade scenario improves Boston. Injury prone PP+Tmac+scrubs wont go anywhere.

We should have a section on the forum that allows posters to make threads of stupid trades that have less than 0.00000000000000000000000000001% chance of even being considered, like this one.

Why is it so low. The salaries don't match up?

The Celts still have lots of young talent. They need a couple of vets to lead them.

man, talk about low expectations. why not ask Cleveland to trade Lebron James for Luther Head. I think the Cavs will do it.

Darn, you guys (and the stray woman or two) are hard.

No wonder I limit myself frequently to the Debate and Discussion Forum, D and D. This is also ,much to the chagrin of some, part of clutch city as I some times refer to this site. (Informally and not with intent to violate copyrights etc.)

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/forumdisplay.php?f=28

Those of you that are gentler and more civil should join us there to discuss politics, relgion, money and other interesting topics.

After all, there won't be much game action for at least until summer league and it does not last long.

Well, yeah, sort of. Still refining the possible thread, if that is ok with you.

Whoever gets Durant is going to be alot better team, but it is not likely going to be the Rockets.

    Laughably bad idea.

Honestly, a trade that I think would work for both teams would be a straight up trade with Dirk for Yao.

Neither team was happy with their performance.

A trade proposal to have Durant and Yao both. Also Jefferson.

T Mac and Battier have pretty good trade value, despite T Mac's back and Shane's inability to be the third go- to guy. Shane is considered to be a player with great intangibles. T Mac is a perennial All Star.

Is it r****ded to think they have enough value?

Should we ask for more from the Celts?

Frankly I am confused, but I don't think this is a sign of r****dation. (IQ of 70 or less on the WAIS or another clinically equivalent measurement.)

Interesting idea re Dirk and Yao. Can Dirk play center? I guess on the new running Rockets. Maybe if they threw in Diop. Do the salaries work out?
