…and I’d rather know what I got. He Shirley didn’t have a fighting chance to show out. I think he looks to have rotational NBA talent. On a good team. I think so, I don’t know so. Thus, how does he get traded? For a bag’o beans, that might - or might not - be magic beans???
Mainly, he needs to learn to pass sometimes. He is actually a pretty decent scorer, athletic enough. Also needs to vastly improve his 3-point shot.
HE could easily evolve into the "do it all on both sides of the ball" sixth man. He wasn't the same after the hip injury. Finally, seemed healthy at the very end of the season. He, KPjr, and Jalen have good chemiistry out there. We shall see. But, unless it's a big trade, don't move him now.
I don't see how Josh Christopher fits on this team if the expectation is to win next year since he's still raw and needs time to develop. I think Josh ends up as a trade piece to another team for an established vet.
Well, not sure who's going to trade an established vet for a raw player who needs a lot of time for development. I think he's closer than we think. A firm handed coach with a some actual strategy on offense should make it clearer what he really has to offer.
The sins of the last 2 years of playing Nix, not trading Gordon, the Fernando experiment and more are going to put us into a position to not be able to vet all our talented young players. We have no choice, but to consolidate assets this off-season. Tate, KJM, Garuba, JC, the clippers pick, TyTy are all in danger of being moved or relegated to an end of the bench role. If we are truly trying to compete for a playoff spot next year, we will most likely be bringing in 2-3 more rotational vets. If we sign another PG or draft Scoot or Amen, JC will either be moved or will be at the very end of the bench. If we sign Brown, Bridges, or Cam, then KJM will almost certainly be moved and Tate will either be moved or will lose significant minutes. If we keep our pick and it’s Miller, then who gets sat? Rotations for a competing team are no more than 9 deep and usually around 8. We have no real PG and no back-up center unless we draft one or Jabari puts on about 25 lbs. I really don’t see a scenario where JC or KJM get another year to hone their craft with the Rockets.
Nah. There's 12 minutes at backup SG which he'll be good for next season. I just need him to STOP taking difficult shots and start making more open 3's. His defense while inconsistent has been very good at times.
Well good luck with that. Every single player in the NBA is spending tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars on their wardrobe. Even scrappy roleplayers like PJ Tucker are known for their style and doing things like collaborating with Dolce & Gabanna for a sneaker. Also,
We can't make any drastic conclusions on who is going to be traded, let go, etc. until we know who is taking over this team to clean up the hot mess left by Silas.
I wish I was a little bit taller I wish I was a baller I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat And a six four Impala
Surprised no one has metioned: "The Increasing Urbanization of NPR".... Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
True that, but be can still play the 3, at times. He's a big kid that's gonna fill out. That said, Im assuming his real advantage will be on D out top and at the two. He COULD still end up as one helluva 2 way player, even starting. Too soon to tell.
He currently has zero trade value so he’ll either be an end of bench guy until the rookie contract ends, or trade filler. There are no rotation spots in the league for 6’3 guys who can’t pass, can’t shoot 3’s, and aren’t elite defenders.
