Webber wants out and he's better than J-Ho. He can shoot, put up rebounds, pass, etc. Sixers won't deal for just J-Ho, even if Webber wants to be traded, so we sweeten the deal by putting in Bonzi (who's not even playing).

I think the contracts work too.

Cwebb should be a Van Gundy type of player (except the defense part), he's a veteran too.

    What do you think?

Webber has been fussing about his lack of playing time in Philly this year, and he's averaging around 30 minutes. He would get way below that time here, so he would fuss even more.

Oh yeah, also - Webber sucks.

I like the idea of packaging JHo and Bonzi for a quality backup 4/5 or 1/2. Question is.. who is out there? You would think there would be some team with a suitable player.. The dream would be getting Bynum! But that's not going to happen.

Even IF we wanted to do the deal, Webber makes 20 million a year through next season.

    Juwan + Bonzi = 8 million.

webber is broken down and past his prime. the sixers don't think much of him since they are benching him in the 4th quarter and the rockets are struggling the most in the 4th quarter so I dont think that that is a good match. I mean if you are a significant role player/starter don't you think you should be on the court when the game counts the most, and obviously mo cheeks feels like he is a liability. i still think bonzi can help us when he gets back...hopefully soon

We need a quick PF.....to put along side of Yao...

That is why Hayes works so well...we have to compensate for Yao's lack of lateral quickness with quicker players around him.

If you guys thought JHo is slow as molasses on defense, then I swear, you're gonna vomit blood on Webber.

His whole game right now consists basically of: Stand around and wave arms on defense and TRY to move his feet, camp out and the elbow on offense and shoot jumpshots, with the occasional hook going across the lane, and about 1 flat-footed dunk once every 15 games.

I might be exaggerating that a little bit, but Webber's done more than JHo's done. He's nothing more than a jumpshooting big man now. Lousy trade. End of story.

thier contract's don't even come close to matching his. you could make it, howard, sura, deke, bonzi, and head...and still not match his contract.

i think its time we talk to seatle. We all know Rashard wants out. hes long enough to play the 4 and still quik enough to play the 3 if needed. hell he even can play some 2 guard.

Well now... that's a terrible idea.

Still, you got me in the trading mood.

    Jho & Bonzi for...

Antoine Walker: Riley probably wouldn't break up his squad, but still an idea...

Troy Murphy: He doesn't play D, but he can board and shoot with the best, and the salaries match. Plus he can play some center.

Mike Miller: Battier at 4, Miller at 3? Doubt they'd do it, but stilll... hmmmm...

Drew Gooden: Doubt they'd do this, but I can dream.

Man, it's sooooooooo sad that Stromile was such an unmotivated piece of crap. His skillset is exactly what we need at the PF spot, assuming he actually decided to play hard every night.
