Steve Francis + David Lee for Tracy Mcgrady Steve Francis for his expiring contract. David Lee is just a terrific talent in a crowded New York frontcourt. And Isiah Thomas is the only GM in the league nutty enough to pull it off. I love Tmac but his injury prone back is becoming too much of a liability.
It would really help your case if Steve's contract actually was expiring. He's got 2 more BIG years after this one. If he gets bought out, he becomes a free agent...so then he can't be used in a deal.

My bad, I thought Steve's contract expired next year. That was the whole basis of the idea.
