i think donyell marshall would be a great fit for the rockets. he can rebound and score in the post.

we should trade kenny thomas and glen rice for donyell marshall.

    what do you guys think.

He seems like another soft 4. An upgrade over what they have, but not what the Rockets really need: a tough guy who will outmuscle people for rebounds and easy baskets.

I like that trade, but I'm positive that the Bulls don't.

Done! donnyell averages 15 and 10 coming off the bench. he is a knack for positioning in the paint and lays off the wanna be kobe shooting jumpers syndrome that KT has.....If KT would just drive the hoop 75% and pass the other 25%, we would be in better shape....Donyell has a nice inside prescence and can rebound.....

The last thing we need to do is trade our best outside shooter for another undersized pf who cant shoot from the outside.

KT for Donyell straight up is my take...i know you are not talking about the "best shooter" as being KT.....also, for a 15/10 guy I think undersized is the least of our worries...he knows how to position and get inside against bigger players and does not shoot a bunch of whacky 15-18 footers with 15 ticks on the 24 second clock

I have the same feeling, no way the Bulls would ever do that trade. Right now Marshall is putting up "6th man of the year" numbers.

Uh, you wouldn't make that trade? Tell you what... I know about a happy place you can go to, with padded walls...

I think while we're at it, we ought to trade Moochie Norris for Jason Kidd, Terrance Morris for Tracy McGrady, Kevin Cato for Shaquille O Neal, and Spike the Wonder Dog for Kobe Bryant. In that way we'll have a real good team!!

Marshall is a scorer and can rebound but he is not a good defender and has problems when players get physical with him.

I think he was talking about Glen Rice and if so, I wouldn't make the trade either. The big knock on KT is disruption of chemistry, the Rox don't need Marshall for the same reason. Glen is getting better and should be a dangerous outside threat, i think he'd be better for this team then marshall.

The Rockets would be stupid to not do that trade.

The Bulls would be even more stupid to do that trade.

DMarshall played the 3 when he was with the Jazz. He rebounds well, and puts up decent offensive numbers. KT for DM would work well for us, but not for the Bulls who won't want KT when they have Fizer who is probably better than KT.

What shooters do we have on this team? Glen and Cat (injured). I guess i'm crazy, but i think with the emergence of Yao, good outside shooters are more valuble to us than another pf. Our best lineup consists of Steve (slasher), Yao (post), and Glen (shooter). With those 3 players, the power forward position isnt that important, and i would rather play Eddie than Marshall in that lineup because he is a decent shooter (who will hopefully improve).
