Guys, post your trade deadline wishes here... For me, my wish is to get rid of Mo and get a good PF in any way we can (Marshall, Chandler, Kwame, etc.) and another wild wish is for us to get Arroyo. I think he could be a special PG to our team..
Trade Yao to peace both YOHs and YOFs Seriously, I hope we could get some young talents. This team is too old.
Trade Mo AND get a good PF that can help? Sign me up! However, I will GLADLY settle for trading MO to the Nets for his equal contract value in a Trade Exception. I will even throw them a future 2nd round pick to do it. I walk away snickering with dreams of a Stromile Swift S&T after the season.
Why the hell would we want to please them? They don't care about this team... (obviously I knew you were joking but still I just wanted get it off)
I like that idea, except I would like for us to get Flip Murray as oppose to Arroyo. It seems as if the Sonics are willing to part with him and he is currently very cheap. He would be another combo guard, but I think he has a lot of upside.
Im not so sure he was joking. I love how some of these fake Rockets fans seem to think just cause some folks are not worshipping at the Shrine Of Yao, that means that ALL Rockets fans want him gone.... Believe me....the majority of ROckets fans want Yao to stay and just play more consistently.....it is the vocal minority that dont want him here.. but of course....most of the ones that want to move Yao cause the fnas are too hard on him have ulterior motives....they want him in their cities... oh btw.....if yall think that other team's fans are gonna be less hard on him...you are seriously delusional.....LA fans would rip him apart for the way he has been playing....the reaction here is mild in comparison.
I want -- Arroyo...and Brand. Or Chandler. I'd take Marshall and Murray. I want a '1' to make BS a back-up 1/2, 28 MPG. I want a perimeter shooter. I want a legit 4. I want a better team.
I think I missed something in yesterdays game. Why is everyone up in arms over Yao right now? I thought he played pretty well considering the way Phoenix was denying him the ball.
typical overreaction to a loss. this was probably one of the 2 or 3 best performances as a team...and yet...we get what you see. thankfullly...none of these armchair GMs actually run the Rockets.
It's weird. Some YOF's want Yao to go somewhere else so he can have a "better coach" and therefore those people are not Rocket fans at all. Then of course the Yao Haters want him out of a Rockets Uni. Yao is a special player and I want to stick with him as long as possible, even though he can be frustrating at times.
oh please..... firstly....players are encouraged NOT to read media reports or check fan sites....whether or not Yao checks any sites other than his own site is debatable....but Im willing to bet money he wouldnt set virtual foot in here.... secondly.....if you actually believe the joke that sabonis is yao...I dont know what to tell you.....but you know...Ive got some oceanfront property in Arizona Id like to sell you... I think a intelligent man like Yao will know that when you see 10-15 posters in a 15000+ member community b****ing about his play....it is only a small minority. He gets tons of love in the only place it matters.....In the Toyota Center. oh...btw.....like I have said before....If you think that other team's fans will be any less harsh than the few "haters" here....youknow nothing about american nba fans
I don't think there are as many "Yao Haters" per se - as there are YOF Haters ... in other words, the people that bash Yao, might be critical because they want wants best for the team. But the people that hate on him might be trying to strike at these YOFs who have never even heard of Mitchell Wiggins - or know who the Rockets drafted instead of Drexler ... or even worse, some peobably don't know who Jon Barry's father is or where he played.
I think that the Rockets have given up hopes that they could trade Mo Taylor. We'll have to look for help from elsewhere. I really wouldn't mind taking a chance on some NBDL players. When can teams start to sign 10-day contracts?
just saw on the sports ticker during the postgame report after the Suns game that some team(dont remember who) had signed someone to a 10 day...so I would say it is possible now. that isnt necessarily a bad idea...we do have a spot open...and Rudy used to get decent bench players from the CBA back in the day. surely there is a good rebounding PF out there who will we can give a shot to...Doesnt really matter if he can shoot good outside the paint...as long as he can defend and rebound
A Yao for Rasho trade wouldn't be bad. Who here wouldn't be excited to see a new twin towers in San Antonio?
Here's my suggestion, so if CD, Les, or JVG is reading: 1.Trade Juwan + TE for Spree and EG. 2. Trade Mo-T for K. Brown. 3. Trade picks for Arroyo. Yup, not the best suggestions, but we get more athletic and if we don't like them (EG/Spree) we can not resign them go after some people next year.
oh yea...you just know that the professionals come here for their player movement ideas... VG cut loose EG...I doubt he wants him back..adn Spree wants too much.. and Ill guarantee you that Sloan will take picks for Arroyo...not!
