Let's all remind ourselves that the trade deadline is typically underwhelming. That said, if we do anything less than trade John Wall for a star, then I will have an absolute meltdown.
I think we can all agree, that at the very least, Stone needs to move Gordon for more than a last minute late round pick swap
Rafael getting greedy. “The Houston Rockets have told teams they have two different offers of a first-round pick for Eric Gordon,” wrote Matt Moore of the Action Network. “The issue is finding a team that won’t send back significant salary as Houston doesn’t want anything major on the books. Houston is also looking for a pick in the teens instead of a late first-rounder for Gordon.”

I would be shocked if Gordon was still a Rocket on Wednesday Stone is trying to start a bidding war. A late first round is fine if we dont get salary in return. Some teams are probably trying to send us their junk contracts.
If Morey was shelling out first round picks for Shane Battier why tf not for an actual talented player like Gordon?
Oh god. Please let this be because a deal is nearly here and not because he's actually injured. That would be terrible timing for a minor injury.
GMs got smarter and more conservative. They probably want to give up 25-30th picks while the Rockets eyeing 12-19th picks.
I'd prefer a Cavs 2023 swap option with the 2023 Milwaukie pick over the Cavs 2022 pick, but I have a low opinion of the depth of this draft.
