Let's start a petition for this. I am really depressed right now. I don't think a team could've done any worse than this. After 2005 season, we learned we needed to get young and get athletic. Trading Gay and Swift for Battier is moving to the opposite direction. Not to mention the big difference in term of talents. I flat out hate the front office now. I'd rather have the stupid Cuban as the team owner now. At least he seems to be able to put together a competent front office.
According to Fran Blinebury from Houston Chronicle,the move was all about JVG ,because as i said before,he does not trust rookies and will not play them significant minutes.The management have no choice but to get him a veteran.
