    That is really going to help Toronto, now Vince doesn't have to handle the rock as long as Rose doesn't mind running the offense, and setting up teamates.

    I'm not sure what to make of this one. Chicago trades its best backcourt scorer for two scrubs and a guy on the IL, and Toronto trades for a guy that plays the same position as Carter yet makes more money that Carter and still has three years left on his contract.

    My only guess is that Chicago wants to focus more on its frontcourt, so they traded the main guy that can take points away from Curry and Chandler. Maybe Toronto is so desperate to get some scoring to go along with VC, that they took anybody that was available.

    Is anybody else as confused about this trade as I am? :confused:

    What I heard is the following:

    Rose
    Marshall

    for

    Williams
    Williams
    Peterson

    ... If this is the case, Toronto run away as a thief.

    Addition by subtraction. The Bulls wanted Jalen gone. The Raps want to score 80.

    Right now there are a few variants of the trade floating around Toronto, and Grunwald is making himself unavaiable for contact.

    Possible variables include

    From Toronto;

    Antonio Davis, Alvin Williams, Jerome Williams, Morris Peterson, possibly Michael Bradley.

    From Chicago;

    Jalen Rose. Eddie Robinson, Donyell Marshall, possibly Jamal Crawford.

    So, this is just a rumor? Like CM/EG to Boston and sheed/Wells to Dallas?

    Spoke to one of my firends at a Toronto newspapaer, and it's for real, they just don't have the details yet. It's not expected to be announced until after the Bulls game tonight.

    Oh, and I forgot that Fizer might also be involved.

    why doesn't toronto trade everyone besides Vince Carter to the Bulls for everyone but Chandler and Curry?

    That's pretty much what it sounds like they are doing.

    Not Bosh, thank God. He had another good game last game, I think it was 16 pts, 6 rebs, and 6 blocks coming off the bench.

    Good trade for both teams if true.

    Carter needs a sidekick, Rose provides this if Toronto gets their chemsitry together they could make some noise in the east.

    Rose is one less person that needs the rock, this will get Curry more shots

    Ok there's a big difference in some of these proposals. Let's wait and see. I'd say that Jamal is better than A. Williams. Jerome Williams vs. Fizer is fairly even. Rose is better than Peterson, but they might need a better fit. Donyell is even with Mo, Eddie Robinson isn't really proven yet.

    I disagree with almost everything you've said here...lol

    Jamal is better than Alvin Williams? When Williams is hurt, yes. Unless ( as is possible) you are assuming Williams is damaged goods, he's shown a lot more than Crawford, and he's among the better defensive guards.

    Jerome Williams and Fizer!?!? On what planet? Williams was top 10 in the NBA in rebounds last year...and is again this year. Fizer has never really shown much more than potential.

    I agree that Rose is a lot better than Peterson, but he also comes with ( possible ) baggage, whereas Mo Pete hasn't had any problems. DOnyell is much better than Mo...did you mean he's even with Davis? IF so, don't agree there, either.
