Battier's defense is still good on most nights but ON THIS TEAM he NEEDS to score, problem is he is slowly falling back into those 4 or 5 point nights.
Something needs to be done. He may be a verbal leader and a veteran of the league, but he's too timid to pull the trigger in the flow of the offense, and it's detrimental to the team's chemistry. He's the most inept offensive player I've seen in years. He can't even finish around the cup, and his defensive contributions are no longer masking his atrocious offensive game. He's pathetic, and it's time for change.

Excellent idea! Trade one of only few legit defenders on our already porous defensive squad. Next we should trade Lee, Lowry and Hayes.
