Trade our 26th pick to Seattle for 31st and 35th overall picks.
    31-Rodney Stuckey PG/SG
    35-Herbert Hill PF/C

We get a combo guard who can score to team up with TMac. Both can split duties at PG while the other can focus on scoring and vice versa. Hill is a big body at 6'10 240lbs that can block shots and score within 10 feet. Can also run the court.

    OR

Trade our 26th pick to Portland for 37th, 42nd, and 52nd overall picks.
    37- Herbert Hill PF/C
    42- Ramon Sessions PG
    52- Demetrius Nichols SF

We get our big man in Hill, who I described earlier. We get a true backup PG in Sessions. He makes good decisions, distributes the ball, and limits his turnovers. His perimeter game is questionable, but he's a high percentage shooter from inside the arc. Demetrius Nichols is I think what we really wanted from Steven Novak. He's a better athlete and defender than Novak and he can really move without the ball. A deadly shooter from beyond the arc. Sessions and Nichols may be just role players and backups at the next level, but depth was our biggest weakness throughout the season and the playoffs.

Sorry this isn't the NFL draft were you trade down to get additional picks especially if you are trading a 26th pick. Lottery pick maybe but no way you trade late 1st round pick for scrubs in the 2nd round. Yes this draft is deep but not enough to get you quality player in the second round. Just doesn't happen that way anymore in the NBA so stay put with what we already have unless if we swap picks in a player trade like I don't know Rashard Lewis to Houston for picks and fillers but even that would be a stretch.
