since there are so many throw out and kill alston threads i think we should trade alston 4 tj ford since ford even though he doesnt shoot that well passes above decently which the rockets need

rafer played awesome tonight.............but i am not against looking at this for sure. it would be cool for tj to come home though.....he is def. a pass first point gaurd so i think it would work.

Absolutely dumb. Rafer is known for his attitude problems in Toronto. Coach Mitchell and Rafer were feuding all season. Rafer was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Too bad, JVG can't control Rafer's shooting. JVG was able to control Rafer's knucklehead temper and attitude, though.
I dont think rafer ever had a knuckle head attitude or anything. Just that torontos coach is nuts. He forced VC to go. I dont now if anybody remebers, but things actually got physical between mitchell and VC. There were stories that VC actually body slammed his former coach on the trainers table.

How is that what the rockets need? Most posters on here just complain about Rafer's lack of shooting ability from 3, and now you want to bring in TJ?
I second that, everyone complains about Rafer's 3 pt shooting. TJ Ford can't even shoot a mid range jumper consistently, and you want him?? If Rafer's shooting is the problem, then trading for TJ is not the solution.
Just what we need, an undersized fragile point guard. I loved TJ Ford as a Longhorn, but he's not the answer for our problems. Besides, we've already got a poor man's TJ Ford in JL3.
lets not forget that cassell didnt play tonight, so the rafer was lucky not to face sam. however, lets see if rafer can play like this on a consistent level.
