tracy's interview On CCTV(20050903) mms://winmedia.cctv.com.cn/jingcaif1/2005/09/jingcaif1_56_20050902_3.wmv I know the reporter sucks, ignore her pls...
You are right. some scary stuff. Tracy could do better for himself if he continued his education as well.
What do you mean? I just finished watching it. It wasn't a bad interview. Questions were vanilla, but what did you expect she was going to ask him? Tracy provided some insight into the team and his life. As far as education I thought he spoke well, but you probably don't like the hip hop style. He has actually taught a graduate course, Basketball 404. He doesn't need to learn anything. Maybe his defenders do
I liked the interview. Anytime we get an extended interview of any of our players, I like hearing it. It's always nice to get a sense of where their head is at. And obviously there is a language barrier for the interviewer so there's no need to be too hard on her. Also, I don't know where the comment about Tracy needing more education comes from. He's just using the type of language and terminology that has been ingrained in the sports landscape. Phrases like, "taking it to another level", or references to "mental toughness", "chemistry", or "communication" are all sports cliches that have permeated throughout the whole industry from athletes, to coaches, to media.
I don't know what ya'll were talking about. That was a great interview. I'll take that over Jim Gray any day of the week.
Thx for the post, it was a good interview. Cant wait till the Rox can put their efforts on the Toyota center floor, as apposed to papers & interviews.
What do you think about her bashing him for not knowing how to use chopsticks? You dont know how use chopsticks? I hope next time you use chopsticks!!!!
