Tracy Mcgrady said out of his own mouth that he was only considering two teams. The Lakers and the Spurs. He based this decision on the fact that he would have the chance to play with the most dominant big man ever and a two time MVP. The fact that he didn't even mention Houston tells me all I need to know about what he thinks about that sorry 7 ft 6 bum Yao Ming. Tracy knows that Yao Ming won't lead any team to a championship b/c he has no heart.

I guess one of the other 236 T-Mac threads weren't good enough for you?

This offseason is going to be a painful bore for Rockets fans.

Where is the link to this story?

    Where did he say this?

If there is a link, then this is a valid thread.

Haha. You lose. T-Mac is not in charge of where he goes, only IF he goes.

Of course he wants to play for the Lakers or the Spurs. He recognizes them as good teams. Yao and T-Mac is nothing to scoff at in today's NBA. Even T-Mac must know this. We know CD knows. We just gotta wait until July 1. Sucks.

LA is out of the question, since they want Kobe to stay. Let's see if the Spurs want him. But I am not sure how can it be worked out. The Spurs simply don't have much to offer to trade for him.

Neither sounds very possible to me.

Maybe he'll figure it out and decides Yao is the only viable alternative.

exactly, tmac has in a sense a say where he wants to go, but if those teams that he wants to go to dont offer adequate compenstation for him orlando does not have to trade him. They could trade him to say, the rockets.

And I'm sure that the Rockets would trade for him without TMAC agreeing to an extension. NOT!

thats the risk...If the rockets end up winning and going deep into the playoffs im sure mcgrady will resign. ITs all about risk and reward. Lets face it, w/o another star this team will not win a chamionship most likely.

The Rockets aren't gonna take the chance of not winning a championship and McGrady walking and losing Francis for nuthin.
