Why does the media keep calling it a hard pick he set on Nash? It was a normal pick but the media act like it was a hard and dirty pick.
Freel. It was a normal pick. I wonder why McGrady felt like he needed to push Nash to the ground though. Typically players will just do some shoving and get in between each other.
Actually, Hubie said it was a hard LEGAL pick and that it happens all the time in the league. If Nashed wants to be pissed at someone than it should be his own teammate who didn't let him know the pick was there.
If you look at the film McGrady saw what happened to Rafer. You can tell he's waiting for the whistle and then when it doesn't come he's like "Whatever" and fires off the three. So my guess is he was fired up about the foul Barnes threw on Rafer.
Yeah pretty much any pick will be hard if you don't see it. The media is trying to act like that started the fight. If Phoenix was retaliating because of that then that was very petty. They also reported that Barnes and Alston already had a history of getting into it with each other. I don't remember them ever going at it.
Hard and normal legal pick by TMac. Nash has slowed down alot this season. He just can't take the hits like he used to in the past.
It actually looked a like a rather soft pick to me, and it looked like Nash barely even made contact before reacting. It was weird.
it was a pick and nothing more. steve just ran into it, something taht happens in EVERY SINGEL ****ING AME. but w/e, dont listen to the media
I agree. I don't know why the media is trying so hard to point the finger at Houston for starting it. Nash had no reaction to the pick besides hurting himself.
when's the last time you saw t-mac do anything that made you say, "man, he's being real physical tonight" ? nash is just weak sauce
It was a normal pick. Nash had a pinched nerve in his neck, so he got all whiny about it. Nothing illegal about the pick. Nash was already falling as McGrady shoved him, thus making TMac's push look harder. I doubt Nash even falls from TMac's shove had he not been falling to begin with. By the way, can you guess who lead the league in flagrants/techs last season?
The fight was over frustration from a number of reasons.. 1) They figured this was going to be route and was pissed 2) They were frustrated at how they were playing. 3) They are going thru frustration pains as a team.. Last year they were a run and gun team and this year Porter has slowed them down to concentrate on defense and half-Court. Listen to what Nash said last night... They are trying to adjust to the half-court play and involving Shaq and it's not easy.. They want to run.
I just love how espn opened sports center by saying my favorite saying "HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" uhhhh, yeah we have a problem. If that problem is blowing out the Suns.
Seriously, there needs to be a worldwide ban on that saying. We get it, every time something happens in Houston, we have a problem. But this time, it doesn't even make sense! I bet the writer who came up with that was like "Oh man, this is gonna be so hilarious! I'm so clever!"
Nash was mad cause he knows that the Suns aren't his team he can run now cause they are more of a half court team with Porter there so he shows his disappointment by going after Rafer.
