So I was lucky enough to score a ticket in General Manager Rick Smith's luxury suite. Juwan Howard and Tracy McGrady came in with their wives and children. Some notes: I spoke to Tracy. He came to town on Thursday. I asked him when about he'd be ready to go, or does he need more time rehabbing. He said he's done in Chicago, and confidently said he's back - ready to go. Not exactly a detailed answer. Sounded like he was 100%. But from the feel of the answer, i would guess he wasn't actually going to start playing in pre-season, but it sounded like he was ready to start the first game or something close to that. Miscellaneous: Someone asked Tracy if he wanted some ice cream. He refused the ice cream. He didn't eat anything from the buffet either, no soda, not anything. I later overheard his wife saying that he was taking all his training very seriously. In general, Tracy was friendly. Kind of kept to himself and his family. But some girls from the neighboring suite bothered him for a picture, and he got up to take a picture with them. Juwan, on the other hand, he had no problem eating the food (including a cookie). Those same girls asked Juwan for a picture and he absolutely refused. They kept asking and he still kept refusing and it was a bit awkward because the girls didn't care for his privacy. he was next to his kid and he didn't want to get up for this picture. Anyways, the girls ended up taking a picture of him sitting there instead. Both Tracy and Juwan stayed till the end of the game. They made sure to spend time with their children. When Juwan left he at least said goodbye to my group of people. THE END (If this needs to be merged with Tracy McGrady 99%, then do it. But I thought Juwan's cookie habits warranted a new thread) No pictures. Not because I was scared of Juwan, but because we all respected their privacy. Only those two skanks bothered them, whereas even the kids in our suite didn't ask for pictures or autographs, just went to meet them.

that's better than if the OP said tracy ate the ice cream, imagine all the tracy critics jumping all over that . the response to that action would render like 5 pages AT LEAST.

Good to know Tracy is laying off the sweets(although he still drinks alcohol when he parties ). Hanging out with former teammates is good, I wish he had more of a bond with his current teammates.
What in particular did he do to make you think he wouldn't be playing in preseason? If he's 100%, confident, and ready to go then I see no reason for him to sit out preseason.
agreed, 100% means he's ready to go right now. if he has to sit out the preseason, that indicates to me that he's still not feeling completely back and is looking to play through some lingering pain. or maybe it just means he wants to reduce the wear and tear of the season. hopefully he waits until he is completely healthy, even if that means missing part of the season, before he comes back.
