Need some help on parking at Toyota Center during Rockets games. What would generally be the best bet? Where can I get free parking, and how early would I have to go? I usually park at a $3 spot on Clay.

monday through saturday, parking at a meter is free.

don't be afraid to walk. it's good for you.

For the 1st two games, I found free street parking 2 blocks away. In the past, I could always get free street parking for all games except maybe on the weekends if I showed up too close to game time.

Dude, the Rowdies will always be there by 7, so we should almost always find parking. Besides, if you join us at Live Sports before the game, we leave cars over there and only take 1 car.

If you get there early enough there's usually plenty of parking on the streets in front of George R. Brown. And then it's just a slight walk to TC.
