Wouldn't it be a good idea if Rockets sold tickets that have already been bought like by season ticket holders who aren't going to go that particular game. Wouldn't it fill up some seats? I guess they already got their money but it'd be good for people who want to sell their tickets..And I would like to see TC more noisy and rowdy like the Pepsi Center was last night.

A lot of good a "rowdy" pepsi center did for the home team...

The only way they're going to fill up the seats is to WIN... and win consistently.

I watched part of game today between Jazz and Spurs. Even when Jazz really sucks these days, their fans are really really supportive. I don't know why houston people can't do that???

THe TC was really loud back when we played the suns, granted the Suns are a great team.

I recall hearing loud chants from the fans, such as the OLAY chat usually chanted at futbol games.

i don't understant it either. if i lived in houston i would be at as many games as possible.

maybe it has to do with our record...maybe all the new faces...maybe the grumpyness of JVG....

if we had rudy, steve, cat, pig miller, bullard, and a few other hometown guys i'm sure we would see a larger turnout for our games.

They didn't sell out the season opener of the 1999-2000 season. (Steve's rookie year, Barkley's last year, and the night the first arena referendum failed) .

That alone should have signalled the trend this city was on in terms of their interest in this team (and Hakeem, Charles, a young exciting rookie in SF3, and Rudy were all still on this team).

What have they done since? One playoffs, a first round exit. That's why the fans haven't come out. There's more "interest" now because of Yao Ming, but "interest" = occasional sell out. Winning = always sell out.

The games are just plain boring. I went to the Jazz game last week and even though we blew them out, it was still a boring game.

he was a fan favorite for some reason. my point was not how good or exciting the players we have are...it's about who the fans root for.

we have tracy mcgrady and yao ming for crying out loud. people still don't show up.

That's more a testament to the apathy of most Houston fans. Hell, I drive 4 hours from Dallas to go watch a game, doing that this Sat., and if I lived in Houston, I would be a fixture.

I just don’t get it, I watch away games and when the lower bowl of the Bobcats stadium is fuller than ours, it just a sad site.

I’ve never understood, why people buy up season ticket then don’t use them?

When I own the Rox (when you dream, dream big), I will have a policy where any non-scanned season tickets will be given up to season ticket holders in the upper seats. Then, I will start selling the open seats in the upper bowl for a discount. 25% off after the first quarter, 50% off after the second, and 75% off after the third. Then, the arena will get louder and louder as the game progresses as more and more fans get in on the cheap.

I'm sure that the day Malick Badiane plays his first game as a Rocket, every person on this board is going to be there.

One game I went to was incredibly boring for 47 minutes and 25 seconds. I'm glad I went to it.

Yeah, I can relate. I am even happier that I stayed for the last three minutes.
