No not the kind of hope the media is selling you that Obama and the fed-zilla are going to swoop in and save you. But rather hope that YOU can take control of your life and change it yourself...

Tired of hearing the fear, doom and gloom that’s filling the airwaves? Join Dave Ramsey for a nationwide town hall meeting and discover what’s happening with the economy, how we got here, and where we’re going. Plus, Dave will answer your questions live throughout the event!

Join us for this free event April 23 at 8:00 p.m. EDT in one of the thousands of venues across the country as we stand together to reignite the fire of hope!

Is this the same Dave Ramsey who has a radio show and cozies up to Dobson?

    Hmmm... no thanks.

So I take it from your cynical comments that you would rather have the government run your lives?

This board is ripe with a sycophantic mindset...

So those are the only two options in your mind? You have quite the narrow view on life.

Well, the choice you present us is either the government or theological charlatans. If those are the only options, I'll go with the group founded by Jefferson rather than the one founded by Dobson.

The government should run your life because you are failing at it.

It might help if you knew what you were talking about. I thought this was the hope of individuals taking control of their lives.

Is this the kind of thing you are opposed to you?

You don't even know what Obama is selling. You shouldn't be commenting on it.

Say what you want about his simplistic view on world economics, his political agenda, or his one size fits all investment advice, but his total money makeover plan to pay off personal debt is above reproach IMO.

We are currently working his 'debt snowball’ and we hope to be 100% debt free in a few years. I listen to his show just for the inspiration to keep it going.

This is not a cynical comment -- it is the full truth. I miss SuperDave... a lot. And I am in general all for non-governmental gatherings with united purpose! Sports is a lot like that. And bookclubs. And churches. And plushy conferences. Not to confuse any of those.
